Starting October 1, 2025, Malaysia's Transport Ministry will begin enforcing mandatory speed limiter regulations for heavy commercial vehicles. Announced by Transport Mini
- Vehicles over 3,500 kg transporting goods
- Vehicles over 5,000 kg carrying passengers
Fleets that are not equipped with certified Speed Limitation Devices (SLDs) will fail inspection and be barred from operation.
